Lamp took over 30 minutes to properly connect to Homekit/Meross app, had to restart twice to properly update firmware (within 10ft of modem installed). Homekit comparability has been impacted in the following ways: There is no way to access all color/temperature and brightness controls in Homekit. There is no way to add Meross scenes to Homekit. The light is great value for money and the HomeKit compatibility sets it apart from others in this price range. Colors aren't as smooth as pricier lights, but you still get most of the colors you're looking for. I bought this for ambient lighting in our living room where we watch TV and have dinner on the sofa <-- because we do, I'll admit. Anyway, we have an LED "tree" but the light it gives off is too dim to see what's on our plates. This little light is perfect. We got it at around 80% with amber light that turns on with a timer set for sunset and turns off as our heat drops for the night. I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase. Not sure what the "thickness" rating means, but um. it is not.
