I have been wearing Double Flare candles for over ten years. I've had countless pairs of double flare plugs. I've never had a pair that badly sized. I ordered 1/2" and they just aren't usable. The bell itself is 1/2" and the wearable surface is anywhere from 1/2" to 00g. Thought I might have gotten the wrong size, but the packaging says 1/2". They slip right through my ears with no effort. Obviously I can't wear them unless I want to break in, which I don't care. I'm returning them. Beware. With such an unreliable size I wouldn't even advise going up a size because who knows what you'll get.
