I'm 5'6 at around 160lbs & it fits perfectly around your arms & fitted but not tight around the rib area. You can also raise your arms comfortably without feeling pinched in the armpit area or feel as if the jacket wants to rip. The material is solid & the zipper is a strong one. I recommend if you are considering buying. For the outfit I bought the pants in size medium as it was better for me
