Pros: I like checked colors and fringes. The length is perfect, the fabric is smooth and soft, not itchy at all. Should be warm enough for Southern California weather. For these reasons, it is a goalkeeper. Cons: The material is quite thin and of mediocre quality. After unboxing I found a small 1/2 inch hold which I will try to carefully tuck back into the webbing before it catches on anything. I also found two areas about 1/4 inch that are so worn that they turn into small holes over time. Not sure if it will be warm enough for the colder parts of the country. I would give 4 stars if the fabric was a little thicker. I don't think this scarf will last very long. I'm willing to hand wash and air dry it - following the care instructions on the label - as it's not well made to withstand even the delicate cycles of my washer and dryer.
