The promise "wireless " is misleading. The speaker is NOT wireless.
All the official videos they are promoting show the Beosound Edge as if it were wireless. They hide a thick wire that needs to be constantly connected to the network for the speaker to work. Otherwise the speaker is excellent, but that's a clear misconception that gives the impression that it doesn't need to be plugged in. The wire is clearly visible.
