Review on ๐Ÿ”ฉ Engine Mount Anchor 9247 by Steven Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits and works great on a 2003 Accord V6!

After a little research I found out that Anchor is a well known manufacturer of engine and transmission mounts. So I found this mount and decided to spend a few bucks more for a more established brand. Very easy to assemble, I just lifted the engine out of the sump, unscrewed the top sensor with a 10mm screw and disconnected the coolant hoses (I needed a new coolant reservoir to replace the lost coolant). ). Plus, all you have to do is unscrew the old mount and disconnect its vacuum line, then install the new one in reverse order! Easy exchange and it's been a few weeks so far so good! (It turns out that the hydraulic line under the mount is used by the engine computer to stiffen or soften the mount with hydraulic fluid depending on how the engine is running. So this is very important for better performance!)
