Review on 🌊 Enhanced Everspring ST812 Flood Detector with Z-Wave Wireless Technology by Frankie Wesley

When I first installed this water sensor I really liked it. The wired sensor allowed me to place the electrode where I expected water to pool without getting in the way of the main unit. However, about a month later I had the first false alarm "wet”. No water in sight, no wet electrode. I took the battery out, tried resetting it, tried removing and adding it back to SmartThings, still reported a wet condition, then it magically restarted. Everything's OK again. NOT RIGHT! Again after about a month I get a false wet trigger and the device won't restart. Of all SmartThings devices that really NEED reliable performance, water sensors are among those that need to be reliable. Two MASSIVE thumbs down. Worse, it's outside of Revain's return window. Totally unsatisfied!
