Works great with my Silverado 2011

Worked great with my 2011 Silverado including remote start. The cost of a remote at the dealership ranged from $125 to $175 depending on the dealer, and programming at the dealership cost an additional $80 to $125, at least $200 for just a remote control. These remotes are a fraction of the price, and I programmed three of them (my original plus these two) at a local locksmith for $25 for all three. So I paid $45 for two new remotes instead of >$200 for one at the dealer. The housing of these remotes is made from significantly lower quality plastic than the retail version, and as one reviewer recently noted, they can fall apart after a few years. , but for 1/10th the cost buying several of these is much more profitable than a dealer remote. In addition, you can buy cases almost for free on the secondary market to extend the life of these remote controls. You can't go wrong with this.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
