I immediately felt cheap!

As soon as I opened it, I realized that I wouldn't take it with me for programming, since everything older than 2010 has to be programmed by the dealer. The plastic feels very cheap, and the internal circuitry and battery installation don't match, and the buttons are recessed too deep. the ability to change places - NO. Again the setup doesn't work and it doesn't align properly at all! Sorry, but this isn't a cheap way to avoid paying $200 for a remote from a retailer - it's just cheap and…

Works great with my Silverado 2011

Worked great with my 2011 Silverado including remote start. The cost of a remote at the dealership ranged from $125 to $175 depending on the dealer, and programming at the dealership cost an additional $80 to $125, at least $200 for just a remote control. These remotes are a fraction of the price, and I programmed three of them (my original plus these two) at a local locksmith for $25 for all three. So I paid $45 for two new remotes instead of >$200 for one at the dealer. The housing of…

Great quality and easy programming!

First purchased as a 1 spare/1 spare for a 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500HD. I lost one of my original keychains and later found it smashed on the street. Contacted local GM dealer for an OEM replacement and was offered $84. Checked Revain and found 2 packs for $19.50. That seemed like a good thing so I did a little research and read the reviews. So glad I made the purchase. To be honest I can't tell these replacements apart from my 1 left original. The remotes come with a small business card with a

Read if you want to upgrade!

Works with 2013 Silverado. If your car already has remote start, these will work just fine. Not OEM but close enough to get the job done. A locksmith can program them for $30, so call and see who knows how. For those looking to upgrade to remote start, please read on below! If your GM car doesn't have remote start but does have a 'prep pack' (code AP8 listed on a sticker in the glove box) then it won't magically give you remote start. If you have an AP8 code, you'll have to pay GM about $100…

Great deal, great work product!

When I bought my truck I was using it and it only came with a keyless remote. It wasn't really a problem until one day while camping I lost my keys. After searching for hours to find it, I decided to call Chevrolet and ask for a price on a replacement remote. Much to my surprise, it cost $150. Anything you buy from a retailer is expensive and literally a rip off. After much disappointment I decided to check out Revain to see if I could get a remote for less. I came across this offer where I…
