Review on Standard Motor Products APS255 Accelerator by Tim Sterling

I bought this to replace my parents Chevy Aveo 5hp Accelerator position sensor and throttle position sensors often go bad in these cars. Common symptoms: rough idle, stalling, worse Fuel economy (eg 18-24mpg!), Check engine light comes on intermittently. I bought these first because the throttle body is more expensive. At first it got rid of the symptoms but they came back within a month.. So now I have to get one buy a new throttle body as you can replace not just the throttle position sensor but the whole thing which becomes a pretty expensive repair.
