I've had this camera for a little over a year. I'm new, used film SLRs before going digital (although I can't bring myself to pay for a DSLR). I bought it to replace my broken Lumix which died in less than 2 years (before that I had another Lumix that lasted 3 years which I really liked but was very disappointed when it looked like this died quickly). The features are great. I don't have a smartphone, but if I did, I would use even more features. I only use half and that's more than enough for me. I use the Wi-Fi button a lot, as well as a few different ways to capture a scene. You can also set the aperture manually, which I really like. Images are usually clear and sharp. The low light shots are so good I only used the flash twice. You can take pictures while recording video, but don't expect them to be in high resolution. Worst of all, the first snapshot can be slow. Until the shutter opens, the mode flashes and everything is in focus, the picture can be missed. Also, in the last month it has started flashing like the mode is switching between the 1st and 2nd picture, so sometimes I can't insert the 2nd picture. This is really my only complaint after a year of ownership, apart from one very picky complaint. that "browsing" of images is done in the opposite direction - you press the left button to go forward, and not the right one like you would on any other camera or device. Edit: After writing this review and giving it 4 stars, I'm knocking it down to 2. I still love this camera but it's useless now. The picture quality is excellent. If you only want to invest 2 years, this camera is for you. Switching modes during photography only intensified, even in the middle of video recording. Samsung wants $75 just to diagnose the problem - after calling support and saying they've never heard of a problem like this (maybe they should read some other reviews!) - so it's gathering dust now until I do can take it to a recycling center. .
