Mounts to a road bike head tube cover, so my comments relate to this mounting method. And I only got a short ride on it so my comments will be limited to that. The holder itself makes a solid and well-made impression. Holds the phone securely as far as I can tell. My bike has a very short stem so the phone is further away than I would like. This meant I had to fiddle around a bit to get it clamped without hitting the volume/power buttons. My real problem was the instructions. There is no question of a trunk lid. Luckily, the pictures on the Revain product page show how to do it, but the instructions don't. The bracket replaces the cap but does not completely cover the top of the tube. This allows rainwater to seep into the pipe. I don't like instructions being translated into English by non-English speakers. Otherwise it seems to work well, although I would like some security when the phone pops out of 4 claws. I hate thinking about my phone hitting the pavement at high speed (not that I'm driving that fast).
