Review on Clover 3148 Stitch Markers Triangle by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

perfect for openwork work

This is AWESOME! I knit a lot of lace and recently designed a shawl with several different and very intricate lace patterns, with garter stitch along the sides and in between. Over 360 sts wide, one repeat of the pattern was 20 sts and 40 rows high and none was repeated 9 times, the other was 10 sts wide, repeated 10 times and had a panel of 14 sts followed by another 16 sts. , and then another 14 hrs. Needless to say, there were a lot of reruns to keep an eye on. PLUS this was made by fingering on #2.25mm/us1 needles. I tried the smallest circular stitch markers I had, but the envelopes decided which side of the marker I should sit on. I ordered them and I'm glad I did! The triangular shape allows for precise hanging, whether on a pin or cable. I also liked having two colors because I could trace different parts of the whole pattern. For example, I would put blue at the beginning and end of the pattern and pink at the repeats within it.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Available in white only

These trianglers are a whole lot better than the round markers. Wish I found these earlier.
