Review on ๐ŸŽง ROC Wired Microphone Earbuds Copper III - Premium Sound Quality and Style by David Baer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They don't produce a rich sound, but they make Cristiano Ronaldo rich.

Build quality and materials are quite good. The metal housings of the earphones are durable and have a high-quality appearance. It includes a wide range of tips, both silicone and foam, guaranteeing a good fit for each application. The reason I'm only giving this two stars is because the sound quality is terrible. Considering I'm clearly in the minority here, take this with a pinch of salt, but I found the audio very imprecise and misaligned. Usually the problem with these headphones is poor bass due to an imperfect fit on the ear. The problem with them, however, is that there's too much bass. Highs are weak, lows are muddy and empty. In terms of sound quality, they're actually inferior to standard iPhone headphones, and they're not great to begin with. One can forgive the ROC for a certain lack of sound quality considering it's supposed to be moisture resistant, but I've used sports headphones, which sound a lot better than these. I think the problem here is that these are just cheap headphones surrounded by a lot of marketing and royalties from Ronaldo. Does it make sense to entrust a famous soccer player with the promotion of a quality audio product? These guys get smacked on the head many times a year, and I'm not sure what kind of kick ability it is that makes a person worthy of promoting an audio product. In this case, the answer looks like this: nothing. You're paying for the Ronaldo name, not quality sound.
