I haven't worn a cloth mask before; I have been using disposables. However, my face is very small and masks come up to far under my eyes. These masks are very soft, comfortable and stretchyand stay down when I adjust the nose wire, but they are thick. When I pull the mask low and adjusted the nose wire comfortably under the eyes (not much space on my face for this) the mask is too close when inhaling. I think this happens on most cloth masks from what I have observed. So, I threaded a very thin wire through the verticle seam in front (tack in place with a few hand stitches so it won't pop out of the seam) carefully wrapping the wire at both ends so that when the seam is stretched the wire holds it stretched. In the picture with glasses you can see that my nose ends just below the rim of the glasses but the mask is held out further down. My chin is just above the lower bend. See all pictures. I have not seen masks with this wire, but assume that if they exist they would cost a lot more. I think I would have to rig something for anything I purchased. That said, these are working great.
