Review on Sound Bar JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass Black by Seo Jun ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

Includes wall mounts and 1.5m hdmi cable. I connected it to my computer via an optical cable without any problems, it is bought separately for 400+. There are no bugs or breaks yet. The USB connector on the rear panel is only for installing firmware ates, if anything. I never considered myself an audiophile or sound expert. But years of listening to good German headphones have made me picky about sound quality. Although I still can’t determine by ear “what’s wrong” with this or that device, and why it “does not sound”, but I can determine by poke and comparison. When I turned on the music familiar from headphones (for example, Nightwish or Alter Bridge) on this bar, I was, to put it mildly, disappointed. So much so that the tweeters of the TV did not seem so bad to me. Some muses. instruments are barely audible, and part of the sound at the top is completely absent. If you do not agree, then you simply never heard the original sound of the selected composition, for example, in monitor headphones. In films, games and music of other genres (trance, pop, classical) distortion is not so noticeable. It was a discovery for me that a strongly curved frequency response in not the most expensive soundbars is the norm. For example, the old Svens 2.0 sps-700 are very positively deposited in my memory, except for the lack of such a deep, rich, penetrating bass everywhere, as here. After experimenting with the equalizer, I managed to get my usual sound on the bar, and now the neighbors have one more problem =)) If you're looking for an affordable movie/game soundbar in a small room, this is the one you're looking for - immersive and wow. Music from these speakers may not suit you, so it's best to listen first and then check if your sound source has an equalizer.

Pros
  • + Sound capabilities for such a price for a 2.1 configuration are more than satisfied. + You can play music via BT from your smartphone. + Wireless sub connects to the panel itself. Its speaker "looks" at the floor, which has a positive effect on the spread of sound around the room . and beyond =) + The compactness of the soundbar - fit where the speakers did not fit. + Does not creak, nothing staggers, there are no glue smudges, everything is smoothly and efficiently assembled.
Cons
  • - It is impossible to listen to music "out of the box", at least rock, metal, groove, etc. - The sub is regulated from the remote control only between three modes, where low = there is almost no bass, and middle = bass is sometimes too much. In general, on the remote control, you can only change the volume, bass power and active connection interface. - The case in the lower left part of the soundbar gets quite hot.
