This brush has served me well over the last almost three years but it has finally bit the bullet. The brush itself works amazingly! However, within a few months the head came off the handle (I have medium thick hair that is naturally wavy but I blow dry straight sometimes so this was used at most once a week) for the first time. It has notches on the handle that the brush slides on to and a screw in the middle, however, that was essentially stripped and the brush head wouldn’t stay in for very long. In the beginning I would get through most of my blow drying before it would fall out, I’d use a towel to reattach and could finish. After a while I had to start super glueing it back in, but that would only work for one blowout, but by the end it would be lose again and I’d have to re-glue to use the next time.Then in January 2019 I decided to go curly 100% so I did not use this brush from January 2019 through August 2020. I just got my hair cut and have started straightening it and now the brush head won’t stay in for more than a few minutes. I’ve superglued it three times since I cut my hair a few weeks ago (still only using this once a week because I can get 6-7 days out of my straight hair) and finally are biting the bullet to buy a new brush.I will probably try another brand but this did serve me well for the most part. It did a great job giving my hair shine, minimizing frizz and straightening my hair while blow drying so I only had to minimally use a straightener after.
