I am using this product to reverse its intended function. For me it turns off my dubious cable modem at 4:00 am and turns it on again at 4:01 am. This seems to have fixed most of the network issues I had when the modem was running for a while. On the second port I have a wireless access point that turns off at 4:19 and turns on again at 4:20. Hooray! This product is great for that purpose! For a while I had a problem with the first fork turning at midnight. However, with very fast and excellent email support, I found that the 8 timer somehow went off at midnight, probably due to an accidental greasy finger on my part. Quick fix and it works great! I deducted one star for the very short time it stays unlocked for programming mode. It only stays unlocked for five or six seconds. So once you look elsewhere and look back, you have to start over. In the end almost every change I made, also in quick succession, started with pressing both shutter buttons and then back to the correct timer. If it were lengthened to 20 or 30 seconds that would be the idea.
