I have a very old Acer monitor that I have had to use in addition to my laptop (DELL XPS) when doing telemedicine at home due to COVID . Let me tell you the picture quality is top notch, no lag or any issues. I had to adjust the resolution a bit, but that's my computer's problem, not my hardware or monitor. The only problem is when I put it down because I'm frantic. I haven't tried the HDMI or DVI features yet, but I don't expect any problems. My friend said that other VGA to USB-C adapters don't work for her. This one does. And because it uses my USB-c connector, I have more of my usual old USB ports for my wireless mouse and webcam.
