First, there is no ball joint at the magnet/phone end. This means that all adjustments/positioning are made from the ventilation side. Not critical, but not as functional as a fully adjustable head. Second, for best performance, I need a holder that places my phone UNDER the vent (i.e. upside down). The problem with this mount is that there is no ball joint at the end of the magnet, there is no gap between the mount arm and the back of the phone. It feels good in the hand. That means you can't reach the back of the phone where the fingerprint sensor is located. Usually the fingerprint sensor is above the magnet but as I said I need the phone under the vent. To unlock/turn on the phone while driving, I need to enter a password or use another unlocking feature. Essentially, this renders it useless in any position other than vertical. Finally, the "enhanced airflow" from the base doesn't work very well. Air blows less through the base than around it - just like any other mount. Good ideas, poorly executed.
