I have a retracting screen door. My cat and one of my little dogs figured out how to push on the bottom of the screen to get the door to open. I was hoping that adding another magnetic closer would solve the problem. I added one closer, waited a few hours and when I closed the door the magnet immediately pulled the flat striker off the door jamb. Installed another stricker and waited over night before closing the door. This one sticks but it is not a strong enough magnet to stop my 10 lb. Dog from pushing it open. So I installed another latch below the first one, thinking maybe two would do the trick. Waited till the next day to close the door. Again my dog pushed through, this time the flat striker again came off. Done with this non-solution. Thanks
