Went like clockwork! Fixed sticky gear selection and hard shifting.
95' F150 4.9L Automatic E4OD 2wd. Silence when shifting out of park. And it shifts from 1 to 2 very hard. I changed the AT filter, cleaned the throttle body, fixed all the vacuum leaks and replaced the idle control valve. It got better but the problem didn't go away until I replaced the TPS. Apparently the computer really needs data from this thing. The truck purrs like a kitten at idle and shifts into each gear smoother than a brand new truck. Hope that helps.
