Review on FORITO Palm Rest Cover Skin & Trackpad Protector For 16 Inch MacBook Pro A2141 (2019) - Space Gray by Brian Stepp

I feel like this palm rest is pretty well designed. It installed easily after thorough cleaning of the Macbook Pro top plate - no bubbles etc. By design the adhesive for these types of products is not very strong. It has to be forgiving or you would never be able to remove it. The outer right corner has become curled up and damaged. It will not lay down because the glue is not strong enough and the material has become creased. I'm not sure how this happened, but it probably was from the computer being on the sofa and the corner rubbed against the fabric in an upward motion, peeling the plastic off the top plate. I don't think the plastic was hanging over the edge, but it was very, very close, so it could get snagged by anything moving upwards along the edge of the computer. It might have been my hand - impossible to say at this point.I think the maker needs to trim the corner pieces back just a tiny amount so there is less chance for that thin, thin plastic getting pulled up. This might not look as good, but it might last longer. I've had this product installed since March 2, 2019 so about 7 weeks.
