I am very pleased with the performance of this piece. I started using it 11 weeks ago and skipped week 6 and last week. (Initially, it's recommended to use it once a week for 12 weeks, and then as needed.) Although I don't apply it very heavily once a week and don't use it for two weeks, my legs are comfortably smooth with a few fine blonde hairs. I've only used it on my lower legs, I have fair skin and dark hair, and that's probably where the device is most effective. It's much more comfortable than shaving or waxing. You can shave between uses until the hair stops growing, the device is easy to keep clean, and I didn't have any problems with ingrown hairs like the other two methods. I don't find it painful to use the device, maybe because I've epilated before. Other reviews describe the feeling of a rubber band snapping against the skin and I understand why they describe it that way, but I don't experience it as painful or even feel it with every flash of light. Again a thousand times better than epilation! I definitely recommend trying this!
