Assembly was easy, took about five minutes. And the chair is very light to move around in different rooms and working areas. The surface of the vinyl stool is not impressive. It's durable and lasts a long time, but when you're wearing shorts or skirts it feels terrible against the skin. I ended up covering mine for a huge improvement.
