Review on Aqara Smart Plug by Adam Woniak ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

Disappointed with low maximum power. If the consumption is much less than 2300W (including at the peak when turned on), then you can take it. And/or you don't have many devices. But if you plan to buy a lot of devices (sockets, light bulbs, switches, relays, etc.), then it’s better to buy a Tuya hub and accessories for it. It will be much cheaper and the range of devices will be larger .

Pros
  • 1. Easy to connect to Aqara hub 2. You can set the memorization of the status (on / off) when there is a power outage at the input to the outlet 3. The socket status and consumption are quickly drawn in the Smart Home (YAUD)
Cons
  • 1. Compatible only with Aqara or Station 2. 2. Small maximum power (2300W). When you turn on the iron - turned off by overload protection. I looked at the consumption through another socket - there is around 2200W, it seems that when on, there is more peak 3. Expensive 4. Unlike sockets, other eco-systems (Tuya) show only consumption in YAUD. Dr also show the current strength and voltage in the YaUD
