My neighbor started winding catapillaries about a month ago. Now we have so many babies because the poor monarchs only have our plants to lay their eggs. I bet I have 20 eggs per plant and 5 plants. It's hard to keep up. But I like watching the whole process: from egg to hatch, from pupa to hatch. Wow. That's great! These habitats provide perfect views and protect the monarchs. I release her once her wings are dry and it's all very cool. Monarchs poop a lot, so I have a mini vacuum every day. I'm still ordering 5 more habitats for friends who want to plant euphorbia and help the monarchs survive.
