We have tried several of these collars as our cat is a small Houdini. I'm always happy to buy another one because I know the tear-off feature protects it. The reflective stripe on the collar is probably the most impressive feature. It glows very brightly when hit by a flashlight or spotlight. I can easily see her in our large garden and she appears regularly on our security cameras. I'm attaching a blurry image from a security camera so you can see how bright the reflector is in the dark.
