I wasn't sure if Sugar Gliders would even like this stuff but it was a decent price so I thought "why not?" and tried since you give them more than one bed option have to give. Lo and behold I found my two little girls snuggled in it shortly after I put them in the cage (and many, many times since) - despite the fact that I hung them quite low in the cage and they usually sleep very high puts. The product description on Amazon simply says "washable". However, the directions say to hand wash and tumble dry on low heat (boo!). I HATE washing my hands and I will not waste energy drying one item rather than a full load at a time. So I put it in a "delicate" bag along with my other sugar glider underwear (small fleece blankets, fleece sleeping bags, and fleece sacks) which I then tossed with my clothes (machine wash/cold, tumble dry). short). despite apparent disregard for wash/dry instructions, it stayed in the same condition as before (note: it didn't bleed either, which I somehow didn't take into account before putting it in my clothes). I've only washed it a few times so far, but it wears out just as well after a wash in the washing machine. The only thing I don't like is that I hate red! I've read that "colors may vary" and in my experience this means you will almost never receive it in the color shown in the picture. I was hoping for purple; I'd happily settle for anything other than this bright red. but it wasn't there. I really don't understand why they can't just let you pick the color you want instead of having 80% or no chance of getting anything other than what you wanted (I gave it one star for that).
