I bought this grinder to replace a Cuisinart grinder I had for about 3 years and only used once a day and sometimes less. In comparison. This grinder is so quiet and I love how they've developed a way to select the grind size that's laid out in a handy slider. It's also good because there's an option to further adjust the grind if you don't like the settings. What I like best is that it is so quiet compared to the Cuisinart and Starbucks grinders I've had before and definitely grinds 100% better! You can get a good French Press grind and a very decent fine espresso. Also, you don't have to worry about the light burning out, as it will turn off after you're done (not immediately, but definitely by itself). I am not affiliated with this company but I know KitchenAid has a good reputation and I would definitely recommend this product as a well thought out result of their attention to detail.
