I used this to decorate my motorcycle for the Christmas parade. You did what I needed. I planned on leaving them on the bike later and they are still on the bike. Only they aren't that bright. I wanted a nice bottom glow, but I don't want to see the LEDs themselves. Not bright enough in my opinion. But they are cheap, which is exactly what I was looking for. BUT, blue stopped working almost immediately. So I only have red and green. Now there is no blue or purple. Kind of shit. I'll probably just throw them away. Cool concept, but more protection was needed for the lamps and circuitry themselves. Everything is just exposed. And a more significant connection of the cable to the battery. It's super weak and thin.
