This trunk is easy to extend. I was worried about the installation but I followed the advice of others and bought a long plastic funnel (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G7AJUS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and cut the big one End to fit the drive shaft hole. I turned the lid over, greased it and the funnel with grease, and it slides like it's falling off a log. I was surprised. The beauty of this method is that you don't have to remove another bolt to remove the wheel support. See fig. The only problem I found was with the clamps so the set gave 4 starts. I don't have the right tools to install the included belt clips so I used some bench vises and did my best. A kit like this really should come with clips that are easier to install. As a backup, I bought a large choker at a local hardware store and plan on wearing it.
