Came for the black light. Loved the WHOLE package!

I bought these because I need a powerful black light flashlight to test various craft projects that use UV activated pigments such as UV. . Also great for finding pet spots. What I really liked was the rest of the flashlight! Pros: - Excellent build quality - Good battery/charger configuration. Batteries require a little slinging (see below) - FULL OF FEATURES. UV radiation is bright and useful, visible light is blindingly bright! Different modes and side lighting just wow! - Sidelight is a real unsung hero, listen. - The magnetic base is very useful and allows you to create a cool double-sided "Darth Maul" torch effect. ;-)- The combination of all properties makes it outstanding. Cons: - It's big and heavy, but well balanced and stable. Not so much a "flash" as a "torch" flashlight. Batteries require several charge-discharge cycles to reach their full capacity. If you have a battery conditioner, it may be worth giving it a few deep charge cycles to "warm up". The cone with sliding hand feel of the lens ring is smooth and easy to adjust. Add to that a foot magnet, a side light, and a USB 18650 charger, and you have an amazing all-in-one for $11 each! It's just that in the short time I've had them they've already been used. for a variety of purposes in the home, workshop and trades. Very versatile in side lighting conditions. This lamp in a pen is really handy and has found more uses than the main end of a flashlight. Build quality is solid, with just the right weight to make it feel solid, but also balanced so it doesn't feel heavy on the nose. The anodized metal has a smooth matte finish and the component fit is waterproof. That magnet in the base is useful for both gluing these things together and providing a flat/stable base for directing the light upwards. Design a 3D Printed "Pop Up" Lantern Cover for Her Already! Very handy to have this with me in my kayak. I haven't tested the buoyancy but will probably throw a styrofoam mini buoy at it just in case. The belt clip is made of very strong spring steel and is securely attached to both the belt and the pocket/pocket holster. Note. Out of the box, the 18650 batteries that came with my devices were almost fully charged when I received them, but both seemed to have burned out within 4 hours and 30 minutes of continuous use in mostly sidelight mode. After a couple of charge cycles (2-3 hours) they are now working in a range close to the advertised. 6 hrs 30 mins to 7 hrs+ when only using low/side light.
