Small touch screen that works

There are many reasons you might want this small monitor, maybe you want to build a system that can run on an external battery, or you want to control your computer without the expense of a full screen, maybe you want a screen with more privacy. , or maybe even just for the novelty of using a 5 inch screen from a powerful desktop computer. Chances are your smartphone has a better screen, but there really isn't an easy way to use your phone as a monitor. This monitor comes with a lot of accessories to connect to your Raspberry Pi. However, to make it work, all you really need is power, a touchscreen input, and HDMI. Power is supplied via Micro-USB and can be powered via a power bank. The monitor consumes 5.5W, both micro USB ports on the monitor can supply power. If both are connected, the power supply is shared and the power consumption of the mains cable is reduced to 4W. It is a "portable" monitor due to its size and lower power consumption, but it cannot be considered a normal portable monitor and is partially fragile due to the lack of a case. It's best to attach it to something. The monitor has mounting holes. Setting up the touchscreen on my PC is a little tricky with multiple displays because Windows doesn't automatically map the touch input to the correct display. You won't run into this problem if this is your only screen. Multitouch works. Viewing angles: Left/right is good in landscape mode, but top/bottom is not. Unlike a smartphone's IPS, which is good from every angle, 60Hz/fps is enough for most tasks, video streaming looks pretty good. small, cheaper screen than ever. The screen protector is also very easy to cut and paste. The sound of the speakers is ok. As with many similar monitors, the backlight is not adjustable and is quite bright. If you lower the "Brightness” in the settings, the picture will look blurry. As with most portable touchscreens, the internal settings are controlled via buttons, there is no touch surface. If you need a small touchscreen, this monitor will generally suffice. Work.
