Causes severe pain in gums

I really wanted to like this toothpaste! It seemed to work very well at first, but over time I started to experience severe gum pain and sensitivity. It took me a while to find out it was that toothpaste but a few days after switching to a brand without as many essential oils/extracts my gums were back to normal and have been ever since! I think when it comes to toothpaste, the simpler the better.
