Not for 6 " platter
According to the description, for a 6" platter you need to buy a 7" platter. This doesn't work because you're not putting constant pressure on the entire base plate. I didn't realize that 1/2 would make such a big difference but it does.I would settle for 6.5" as the pros recommend.
