These lights are better than I expected! There are many settings and shades. My favorite setting is "In Waves". I docked a star because the remote control is a bit wonky and sometimes doesn't work (if you have this problem, remove and replace the battery). The backlight can be turned on by pressing the button on the plug if your remote isn't working, but you won't be able to access all the settings. The flashlights must be plugged in to work (there is no battery) and you will need your own adapter.
