After using another brand of flea collar unsuccessfully for about a year, I took a chance and paid the premium price for the Seresto Flea Collar. My dog's itching decreased after just one day, and was non-existent three days later. It's also stated to last 8 months with regular dog washing no more than once a month to ensure its effectiveness. It seems that it will be effective for this long, although it has not been in use on my dog for 8 months. Nothing worked before purchasing the Seresto collar, and I would honestly purchase another one if the current collar only lasted 4 months - It's that good!
