First, they're not tacky like the others. You can't just stick it to the wall, for example. Second, I thought it was a thick round rope, the same as I have around the pool deck. but it is actually a very thin round rope lamp. Although I'm not upset. The rope light is very easy to hang up. I say hang up because it comes with 10 tiny clamps and little nails to hold it in place, which is what I was going to do anyway because my walls are very textured and I can't use command strips or anything like that on them. The lights are perfect and we love them so much but my only complaint is the remote control is missing! The buttons don't work properly half the time, which is frustrating, and the plastic over the buttons is peeling off, which also changes color. Otherwise, the headlights themselves are great.
