If you're an avid builder, carpenter, landscaper, household planner and the like, you don't get this. Woodwork, father or mother at home or single, get this listing. I often get too many requests from my spouse to check things out or darling to make a list. Any sane American would need a tape measure to measure things and do basic calculations. However, I never have enough measuring tape, not even the one in the garage. So I bought this combo at a bargain price. I leave 1 set (large and small) in the attic closet and laundry room; and another set on the lower floor (pantry and dressing room), it is very convenient. That's a lot (class B). Medium sizes are pretty standard. The small one bends too easily but I used it to quickly measure the length needed to purchase curtains for sliding doors (96 inches) etc.
