At first I had the same problem as others where the toner indicator would not reset. Since Brother printers don't allow printing with the toner lamp on, I had to look for a solution. I did some googling and found the instructions below that worked for me! — Open the front cover and keep it open by following the steps below. - Turn off the printer. - Press and hold the "Start" (or "Start") button. button) when the printer is on. All indicators on the control panel should be lit. - Release the "Start" key (or the "Start" key). - Press the "Start" key (or the "Start" key) 2 times. - Break. All indicators on the control panel must be on. Press the start button (or start button) 5 times. The toner light should go off. (Blink errors may occur) The paper light should be on or blinking - Close the cover. The ready light should be the only light that is on. If anything changes I will report things like poor performance, paper jams etc. but for now I'm happy camping! :)
