If they worked it would be great. However, they just didn't get up. I tightened them and they either fell from the rain or the poles rolled off. I tried different spots on the boat and no matter what I tried they didn't work. Well if there were buttons on my cover then yes I would see them work much better. However, with mushroom tips, they just aren't strong enough with a small base. Maybe if the base was 2 times bigger. It's really a shame because I really wanted them to work. Now I'll have to try something like shower curtain rods to see if that works.
