My KitchenAid stand mixer has been used successfully for years, but it just doesn't cut it for some of my baking recipes. This 7.4 liter model handles large mixes of ingredients, and the splatter guard keeps them in the bowl and off of me and the kitchen countertop. All in all, this blender does what it's supposed to do. I've made dough for cakes and pastries, as well as tougher products like dough for breads and pastries. There was enough electricity for everyone. But overall it feels light, like the whole body, controls and such; definitely a drop in quality from my KitchenAid. But I only use this blender for oversized recipes and not as an everyday gadget, so I think it's good enough. My only star is a feature that other people might like: the suction cups on the bottom of the device. This absolutely prevents him from walking around the counter while working, but I prefer being able to easily position the blender in any position I want. It takes some force to loosen the suction cups to move it.
