You get what you pay for
Let's face it. This is a $25 portable stand. As for the price, it's not really designed to stand the test of time. I bought it with the intention of using it to display bags at a trade show. It did the job, was fairly easy to assemble and had good adjustability. However, the stand itself was flimsy and kept falling apart despite minimal movement at the base. This was perfectly fine and served its purpose of displaying items for me for a 3 day event, but it went straight into the bin when the event ended. If I had another event where I needed one of these I would buy the same model again but with the knowledge that it would literally end up falling apart.
