Better Than Wood: Toothpicks

Many restaurants keep wooden toothpicks near the door so you can grab one when you go out. Nice touch, but chopping wood doesn't work. They have a small brush on one end and the other end is tapered. The tapered end has a ribbed texture that is more useful than a smooth finish. The small plastic box keeps them neat in my purse or car console.
