I don't think these are real forest areas. From the outside the shoes look and feel real and overall they are cute shoes but the material is very thin and some stitching is sticking out. What really makes me think they are fake is that they are very uncomfortable. I've had several Tims and none of them have done me as much damage as this one. Either it's a fake or Timberland didn't care much about that particular shoe.
