While this is a great idea, it just doesn't work. I powdered my nails last night and used clips and the "cotton" bits that came with them. First, they are difficult to use on their own as they slip off when trying to use others. Then I decided to pre-soak the cotton and then apply it. It worked somewhat, but still uncomfortable to wear. The pads included in the kit are thin and don't absorb well in my opinion. They really are cotton. I ended up spilling more acetone than I absorbed. Since they are still exposed to the air, they dry out within 5 minutes. When I went to remove it 20 minutes later the cotton immediately stuck to my nail like concrete which I had to rip off leaving cotton residue and I didn't even remove a quarter of the nail polish. The included carry case, removal tool and nail brush are the only reason I'm not returning this. I wrapped my nails in cotton and foil again and my nail polish was completely gone in about 10 minutes.
