I think my old 2011 receiver still sounds great. So far I've used music apps on the TV to stream through the receiver. I no longer wanted to turn on the TV for hours just to listen to music. Now I can use the apps on my phone to turn on the receiver and connect BT to 1Mii BT receiver. I'm usually about 50 feet from the receiver in my office and it's out of sight. I haven't experienced any audio dropouts due to poor BT range or obstacles like walls etc. Adds years to the life of a home theater receiver. Love knowing I haven't recycled more e-waste just for the convenience of BT.
