Fragile but gets the job done

Okay, here's the thing. Apparently some of the reviewers weren't in the casino and saw the auto shufflers there. You take multiple decks in a pile, split them, shuffle, split, and shuffle again. repeated several times over probably an hour. This product is cheaply built and a little flimsy, but the principle of mixing is the same. Split your decks into two equal piles. into the shuffler, where he stacks them on top of another pile. separate and shuffle into another batch. "wash and repeat". The CAH examiner may not realize that you need to do this. For the cost of the machine, you get a very uneven repack. The other problem is that you need some weight on the two decks to mix. The first time I used it, only about 20% of a deck was shuffled into the middle stack. I put two AA batteries in each deck and shuffled it. At the same time, they fit evenly in the middle. It may also have something to do with the CAH issue. So to add a star. Have a spring loaded clip on each deck to hold them in place and apply pressure to hold them in place and this will help the wheels pull them to center. Also the clear plastic spreader is very loose and not fastened properly to hold all decks especially 6.4 it fits but with 6 it can fall out after full shuffle as there aren't enough guides to keep it in place to keep. . Add a fifth star. Make it out of aluminum. and move the push bar that activates the machine. There were no directions either. Not that it took much, but there was no instruction, company information, return, repair, warranty service information. With a weight of 1 ounce per deck (a few clay poker chips can add enough weight) this will work well. And EVERY shuffler requires you to shuffle the decks at least three times to get an effective shuffle. PERIOD.
