Review on HFP-386-UR2 Fuel Pump Assembly with Strainer and Regulator - Compatible with Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic/Custom VN900 EFI (2006-2018) - Replaces OEM Part Number 49040-0022 by Jacob Diego

This bike is shorter and does not have the same mounting options as the standard bike. I could add spacers to make it work, but I just cleaned it up and used the original. I didn't want to modify anything that is in the gas tank. I'm sure you could get it working, but it's not a direct replacement. (new part left in picture) The o-ring matched the line, only the metal ring that fits the bracket to hold it in place is shorter and force can push the part out so you make the bracket shorter or use shims need to add from the ring to the end of the bracket. Also missing is the mounting portion that you can see on the right side of the old part. Performance wise I'm pretty sure it's fine, just not right for my application where it's listed on the company's website.
